The new PUMA 1000line , already popular in America, Europe, China and Korea, boasts best-in-class high-speed, ultra-rigid cutting performance and stability, as well as greater ergonomics through the addition of new features.
Large processing area
The Model PUMA 1000A/B power model is capable of high precision machining of a wide variety of large parts such as large rings, flanges, rollers, shafts and pipes used in a variety of industries such as aviation, shipbuilding, chemical and energy industries. This machine provides machining in lengths up to 2040 mm and diameters up to 1000 mm. The large bore of the spindle (up to 560 mm) allows the processing of long pipes and bars required for shipyards, oil exploration, etc., and in general significantly expands the possibilities of the machine's application in various industries.
Power handling
To improve productivity when machining large parts, the cutting ability of the spindle is very important. The PUMA 1000 series is equipped with a two-speed gearbox with a high-performance spindle with a maximum power of 75 kW. The PUMA1000 is one of the most productive machines in its class. A 250mm thick turret with a more robust design, equipped with a highly reliable servo motor, reduces vibration during turning and milling, and improves cutting performance, which in turn increases machining stability during hard cuts.
