New series of lathes Doosan Machine Tools PUMA 5100
The new PUMA 5100 series of lathes from Doosan replaces the PUMA 480 range and offers increased productivity features for those looking for a new technological breakthrough in turning.
PUMA 5100 – is a powerful, rugged and reliable turning center equipped with advanced high-speed spindles, servo-assisted turrets and a box guide for increased rigidity as well as improved machining performance.
This series is mainly designed for heavy-duty applications, covering a wide range of machining, along with fast positioning and fast indexing of the turret in two directions.
These lathes are available in large chuck sizes (15 "and 21") and can handle bar diameters from 116.5 mm to 275 mm. These machines are designed to machine large and heavy workpieces and provide excellent workpiece precision, surface finish and process reliability.
Lathes PUMA 5100 can be equipped with extended beds and driven tools, while the PUMA 5100LY has a Y-axis.
